Had a great opportunity to paint a wall off Cherry Street in Tulsa this summer at Lucky’s restaurant. Battling the sun was zero fun but after 4 days of morning and night work I saw it through to the end. Thanks to Jewels for all her help and to Carl for the sunglasses that helped way more than I thought they ever could in that brutal direct sunlight. Thanks also to Matt and Brooke for seeking me out and giving me little to no restrictions creatively. Another wall transformed!

Here’s a couple of photos from my stop by Eric Howard’s casa. He’s been diving deeper and deeper into the can play as you can see from the looks of this 8×4 and intricate custom masonite stencil.

It’s been since February that I’ve had my own personal studio to work out of. Temporary setups and various large-scale works have been my life for the past 2 1/2 months. During this time I’ve had a chance to dive deeper into aerosols, both on walls and canvas. Beside me is my buddy I will soon share a garage studio with, the Ronsta Monsta, Ron Givens. We’ve both been attacking Spanish and German Montana’s color range to find what suits our pallet best. Using more mediums has expanded my creative process and I plan on experimenting a lot more once I have a decent space to do so in. Until then, here’s some photos of what’s been happening, building up to the dawn of a new studio.

Way too much to say about this experience so I’ll just keep it short and sweet. Much thanks to Ethan and Reggie at Mercury Lounge for providing such an amazing opportunity and for letting me go wild on their walls along with Eric Howard and Ron Givens. Overall an amazing learning experience and the most extensive work I’ve done on any wall to date!

First off, much thanks to Emily and Harley Smith for this grand opportunity to adorn a major wall inside their new venture, 918 CrossFit in Tulsa, OK. We coordinated on the idea while I was still in Dallas and mapped out the details when I got to Tulsa. The whole piece was put together on my computer and digitally projected on the first day. I spent the next two days rockin details and throwing a bit of spontaneity in here and there, for a total of 25 hours or so on the wall. A great experience overall, especially broadening my perspective on how much paint and supplies are needed for something this size. Good times and they were happy with the results, what more could I ask for!

Just finished a spartan for Jerome’s Gym in Richardson, TX with Ron. All spray paint, digitally projected and executed. Definitely a “stick to the plan” piece. Turned out clean and Jerome was happy…success!
