The last weekend in August…

Here are a few of my favorite sections of the wall skin I’ve got in my studio. This is the first time I’ve tried putting something between the wall and pieces I’m working on. I prefer working with paintings hanging on the wall over easels. So the cardboard has become somewhat of a floor to ceiling sketchbook where I can work with no reservations. And over time, the way the images are layered from completely seperate moments starts to inspire new compositons and color schemes.
